The higher altitude of Bedugul allows a wider range of fruits and vegetables to be grown than elsewhere in Bali. The colorful little market, Candi Kuning Market, offers a wide selection of products such as bananas, passion fruit, snack fruit, and cassava cracker, including strawberries which thrive well in these areas.

It takes about 2 hours to drive from Denpasar Bali International Airport to the Bedugul area, and drive to the center of Bali Island through Seminyak, Kerobokan, Mengwi, and Baturiti Village.
